The position of Loan Review Specialist is responsible for ensuring the Bank maintains a sound loan portfolio with respect to compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, and Bank lending policies, procedures and guidelines; review consumer and commercial loans for accuracy and compliance; assist Compliance Officer in attaining established lending compliance goals; conduct activities related to Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA); prepare reports to the Board of Directors on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis; prepare reports for management/regulators on an "as needed" basis; review cash flow and financial analysis for loans; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.Loan Review Specialist is required to remain current on all pertinent laws and regulations pertaining to the lending function, as well as Bank policies, procedures and guidelines.

•Open and process new accounts, including DDA, savings, IRAs, and certificates of deposit.•Cross-sell the bank’s services and products.•Research and answer customer inquiries; quote products and rates.•Assist in answering the telephone and transferring calls to the appropriate personnel.•Research and verify account information, and resolve problems for customers as necessary.•Safe deposit box services.•Assure they are always in compliance with BSA and Reg CC•Accepts deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and issues receipts.•Cashes checks•Processes credit card deposits and credit card advances.•Redeems U.S. Savings Bonds.•Issues, logs in, and signs cashiers checks and signs loan proceeds checks.•Accepts loan payments and safe deposit box rental payments.•Admits customer to safe deposit boxes.•Answers customer inquiries and gives balances.•Balances transactions at end of day and verifies cash totals.

Operates a teller’s window by providing prompt, efficient and accurate customer service, representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner, alert to customer needs and willing to cross-sell or refer the customer to the appropriate staff.• Accepts deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and issues receipts.• Cashes checks• Cross-sells the Bank’s services and products.• Processes credit card deposits and credit card advances.• Processes night deposit bags.• Sells and redeems U.S. Savings Bonds.• Issues, logs in, and signs cashiers checks and signs loan proceeds checks.• Accepts loan payments and safe deposit box rental payments.• Answers customer inquiries and gives balances.• Balances transactions at end of day and verifies cash totals.• Assure they are always in compliance with BSA and Reg CC• May assist head teller in training, vault maintenance, scheduling, opening and closing.
