I have 33 years' experience as a Personal Assistant and am highly skilled within that role. During my 30 years' as an Executive Assistant with Marsh Ltd, London I had worked closely with a team of 15 colleagues consisting of Managing Directors, Account Handlers and Brokers. My role was to provide effective and efficient secretarial and administrative assistance for that team to maintain a proficient working environment.I am friendly, a well-liked member of the department and am respected by my peers for my professionalism and the ability to demonstrate initiative. I have strong multi-tasking skills, the ability to prioritise tasks which enable me to meet tight deadlines. My communication skills have helped me to develop and maintain good working relationships.Having mentored another Assistant whom worked closely with me I was able to share my expertise and knowledge with her thereby overseeing the day to day running of a larger team of colleagues within our department.I had also taken on the role of a First Aider and Fire Marshall utilising my communication and team ability skills to give support to a wider audience within my organisation.Having travelled into London for 33 years I decided it was time to work closer to home. Secretarial was still the go to occupation at that time but due to the pandemic the next job didn't materialise as quick as I expected so I decided to try a different vocation and applied for a waitress position, very different to insurance but a very rewarding and enjoyable profession.
