I managed 3 main streams were required to achieve this: a) Monitors were replaced in other buildings; the replaced monitors were cascaded to the BCP office; b) wireless network to be implemented across new office; c) new remote desktop solution to be developed and implemented across new office.

Cloud Services Program Manager – Global Private Cloud EstablishmentSuccessfully Program Managed the staggered but concurrent implementation of two Private Clouds, in London and New York, for workloads unsuitable to public cloud. Utilising a cloud vendor partner, 8 external vendors and internal teams located in London, New York, Hong Kong, Manila and Sydney.Macquarie was also responsible for data centre selection and contract negotiation in both London and New York, with parallel implementation of Network Hubs into these data centres. The new private clouds integrated to the existing Macquarie Private Clouds in Hong Kong and Sydney.

Networks Services Global Program Delivery Manager Role was responsible for Global Network Service projects to maintain and enhance Macquarie’s global IT network. A dedicated global team of 13 project managers and junior project managers. Major projects:> Program Managed an intensive 16-week initiative to upgrade 15 Asian sites Voice Trading systems to meet audit requirements. Four global teams established. Requirements were to source equipment, cable and add power in data centres, equipment installation and testing, and user training. Each site required a bespoke solution.> Assumed responsibility for an over budget and overrunning and underperforming global implementation of new generation firewalls. I worked with the vendor to change personnel, integrated the vendor team within Macquarie and located them as part of my Sydney team. Worked with the new vendor PM to develop and execute a new global schedule. > Assumed responsibility for an overrunning and underperforming program to migrate Macquarie’s network services to an outsourcer. I worked with the vendor Program Manager on new processes, procedures, plans and execution for 8 remaining 8 global projects.

IT Infrastructure Business ManagerPart of the IT Infrastructure Business Management Team, responsible for the movement of 800 global staff and contractors.; vendor staff contracts; monthly headcount performance reporting.

Global Desktop Windows 7 OS Upgrade - Program Manager Assumed responsibility of an overrunning and underperforming program to build/rollout new global Windows 7 SOE to 20,000+ PCs in 28 countries. When I commenced, the OS image had not been agreed, the number of desktop application ready to be migrated was unknown (4,000+ applications), and the zero PCs had been upgraded. Significant progress was required by June 2013 to meet regulator expectations. 90+% PCs upgraded by Jun 2013 meeting stakeholder and regulator expectations.

Major program/project delivery included:New Sydney Data Centre> Oversight of the physical build of a data centre in western Sydney from the ground up, then managed the IT fit out of the data centre. > Program Managed migration of a cold data centre to the newly built data centre. The one hot element was the Woolworths POS system, which carried up to half the POS traffic at any given time.Woolworths Network Tender> Program Managed the tender, and associated implementation for the Woolworths network. This was the largest commercial network at the time in Australia. The services were migrated from one vendor to 4 vendors.> Managed a Sydney based team of project managers and business liaison staff who developed infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements

New Sydney Building with “Follow Me” Technology - IT Program ManagerManaged a team to investigate and pilot new technologies for an active new building in Sydney, designed to attract and keep millennials in the business. These technologies are now part of everyday business practices. These include - interactive meeting room bookings, interactive large meeting room screens and remote meeting capabilities.
