Working with Remote Health Solutions provides me the opportunity to provide care for people who may not otherwise have access to care. This is a convenient and cost effective alternative to in-office care for people with primary care issues and for those who need support with chronic disease managment.

Assessment and treatment of patients with digestive disease conditions in both the inpatient and clinic settings. Responsibilities included patient assessment, diagnosis, ordering and reviewing appropriate lab tests, radiology exams, and procedures. Daily rounding on assigned patients at Medical Center of Aurora. Collaboration with physicians and hospital staff to ensure timely and appropriate patient care. Education of patients and families regarding disease processes, medications, and procedures was integral to my role. Utilized Cornerstone guidelines to improve care and outcomes for patients with IBD. Hospital privileges / credentialed at Medical Center of Aurora.

Provide direct medical care to patients requiring hospitalization. Responsibilities include obtaining and documenting H & P, daily rounds, discharge summaries, accurately documenting in EHR (EPIC), ordering all appropriate tests, consults, procedures, and communicating with teammates, patients and family members. Collaborate daily with attending physicians and consultants. Credentialed at Centura Health (Penrose and St. Francis Hospital) and University of Colorado (Memorial and Memorial North) in Colorado Springs.
