It is quite an honor and a privilege to help facilitate my patients' healing process.My objectives are tri-fold: (a) to constantly learn and expand my healing art, via professional development; (b) to remain open and to listen carefully and grow via my patients; (c) to educate thousands of individuals/groups about the benefits of Oriental Medicine--insurance commissioner, insurance firms, hospitals, public/community health clinics.Specialties: diabetes, migraine; sjogren's syndrome; rheumatoid arthritis (RA) & osteoarthritis (OA); TMD (tempero-mandibular disorder): jaw tightness, pain; unilateral headaches; sciatica; cervical neck, thoracic mid-back & low back pain. The TCM modalities I use include: acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, moxabustion, Chinese herbal food therapy, Chinese herbal bulk teas, patents & granules; acupressure). I also am trained in Japanese meridian therapy and Japanese-style moxabustion (trained w/ Mitsui Jun Ji). I've trained in Chinese tuina (phonetically: "tway-na") massage, too. When appropriate, I even suggest natural supplements. I am a big proponent of regular exercise for all my patients as well as whole food nutrition.
