I was formerly Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of Windsor, where I founded and ran the National Self-Represented Litigants Project, until December 2020 (Dr Jennifer Leitch is the new Director). I resigned in disgust at the university's use of an NDA to secretly sick a person terminated for harassment of students on to another law school. I now run the Canadian side of Can't Buy My Silence, a not-for-profit founded by myself and Zelda Perkins to lobby for legislation to restruct the abusive use of NDAs.
