• Administrator of an OSI PI system of Pi Data, Pi Asset Framework and Pi Vision, as well as GE Proficy, Transpara KPI and Infor Factory Track. • I pick up data for Pi from 4 locations from the mid-west and east coast of the US for storage and analysis. Data is pulled directly from PLC's using Kepware Server as the interface between machine and data archive. • Data is also retrieved from GE Proficy and DCS for storage and analysis.• I have OSI certifications in Administration as well as Advanced Analytics.• Working with Engineers to rebuild and modernize data reporting from the floor to engineering as well as Manufacture and Operations staff.• Starting with Pi Historian and Process Book, I created 3 new servers, installing Pi Historian, Pi Asset Framework and Pi Vision. All databases were upgraded and data transferred as well as all tags and analysis. This ran in parallel until the customer was satisfied that the data was correct. At this point, the old system was shut off and all traffic going to the new system.• Re-imagined the way raw pulp is ordered from the warehouse, loaded and delivered to the mills. Done in ASP with MS Sql Server, increasing the accuracy and speed at which the pulp is delivered. This has reduced “misplaced” pulp by 100,000 bales, saving $250,000 per year.• Moving the company from a rule of thumb operation to a data driven manufacture system.• Factory Track Admin for 5 locations which runs floor operations, inventory, material movement and shipping. • I negotiated the price of 100 ruggedized tablets direct from China, for use in the factories, as well as long distance (Greater than 30 feet) bar code scanners. Doing so, saved the company 10’s of thousands of dollars.• Actively working to reduce production waste, Just In Time manufacture and logistics.
