A born fixer, I love nothing more than getting my teeth into a complex issue. Whilst this has been great for my career, I haven't always had the self awareness to create appropriate boundaries so I've learnt the hard way about anxiety, stress and ultimately burn out. After 25 years of software delivery management roles and solving business problems, it was time to do the inner work. It was time to apply my fixing nearer to home. I'd finally realised that I couldn't outrun my emotional baggage. A 3 year masters in mindfulness gave me an incredible opportunity to research and apply mindfulness techniques to emotional resilience and my hope is that I can use my own knowledge and expertise to help others to cut out that 25 year learning curve!Mindfulness may still seem like an odd fit for the corporate landscape but with experience of both, I believe I am uniquely placed to bring this traditional practice into the workplace for the benefit of all.
