Ms. Plummer worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney, Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, providing legal services on behalf of the Department of Children and Families in order to protect children who have been abused, abandoned and/or neglected. Part of her role as a Prosecutor involved Dependency hearings, mediations, adjudicatory hearings, modifications of placements, judicial reviews and termination of parental rights and appeals cases brought pursuant to Florida Chapter 39, F.S.After years at the State Attorney’s Office, Attorney Plummer opened her private family law practice in St. Petersburg in 2003. Her practice focus has always been Marital and Family Law, including dissolutions of marriage, child custody, timesharing issues, equitable distribution of assets and liabilities, alimony, child support, mediations, marital settlement agreements, modifications, relocations, advising clients who live out of state in legal matters, paternity, step-parent adoptions, and domestic violence injunctions.
