Refocused and redesigned this publication for the 35,000+ members of the Fostering Network

I work closely with comms company Matter&Co (matterandco.com) to create copy and publications for clients that do good in the world, including ECT Charity, investment firm CCLA and the Community Transport Association.I helped to launch Pioneers Post (pioneerspost.com), an online newspaper for social entrepreneurs which covers stories across the globe. I’m currently managing/commissioning editor, a wide-ranging role that encompasses commissioning and writing content, overseeing social media activity, mentoring/guiding colleagues, developing the website, analysing online performance and managing partnerships.I'm also involved with the RBS SE100 Index (se100.net), which compiles, highlights and benchmarks the facts and figures behind the performance of the UK's social enterprises. I’ve written or edited every one of SE100 annual reports over the past seven years.I'm an editor and writer for The Fostering Network. Together we've worked on some powerful publications to help foster carers overcome the challenges they face in caring for some of the country's most vulnerable children. I’m particularly proud that I edited Safer Caring: a new approach by Jacky Slade, which is now the charity’s best-selling publication. I also edited The Skills to Foster pack, which provides the basis for the training course that nearly all of the UK's foster carers take before they are approved to look after children.In 2016, I launched a website (www.ebreconnect.cat) for English-speaking residents and visitors to my area in Catalunya. The aim is to help build bridges between the different cultural groups by increasing people's understanding of local traditions and what's going on.The rest of my time I spend looking after my little girl and keeping our eco-house (solar and wind-powered on the side of a hill in Catalunya) running relatively smoothly.
