I am a data scientist with a PhD in quantitative urban ecology and 15+ years working on collaborative projects in Python and R programming languages. My toolkit includes various predictive modelling approaches, tabular and spatial data analysis, and a quiver of un/supervised machine learning algorithms. In my time as a Pivigo developer and S2DS mentor I've enthusiastically added Agile project management, AI, production-ready coding, triage incident management, and cloud computing.A problem-solver by nature, I love bringing my skills to real-world challenges. My analytical perspective enables me to unpack complex challenges into digestible bites, then map out innovative, data-informed strategies with the hope we will work together towards a more sustainable future. I think deeply about biodiversity, equitable cities, climate and social justice, and the importance of these themes in today's global environment.
