About Julie Sharp
I am co-founder and co-organiser of ffconf (formerly known as Full Frontal JavaScript Conference) which is now in its 14th edition It takes place in the UK's oldest cinema and has grown to have a "world class reputation" (a direct quote from a Mozilla employee). We have a strong ethos regarding inclusion so have run a scholarship programme since 2015 and offer heavily discounted student tickets. https://2024.ffconf.org/My passion lies in taking your vision and making it a reality. I can bring together the many moving parts of an event so it runs seamlessly on the day. I can organise the event from scratch, liasing with venues, suppliers, speakers and delegates. Or I can just come in on the event day and ensure that registration is run smoothly, sessions run on time and volunteers are organised - leaving you to be host of your own event. I have organised workshops, hacking days and also a workshop tour of England running five courses in two weeks. I have 17 years experience as an events manager and have run a variety of events including a high profile anniversary ball at The Grand Hotel in Brighton, outdoor theatre, drive in movie, outdoor fairs and a range of sporting challenge events.
