I work independently as a Consultant using my experience and expertise in education at a senior level to work with colleges, schools and universities to improve the quality of education through CPD and to invest in staff well being. Current projects include driving a student to student coaching programme to improve attendance and outcomes, coaching/mentoring Heads of Learning to set up new AP teams, coaching/mentoring teachers , delivery of talent management programmes for potential leaders bringing together academic and support staff often post merger, devising and delivering materials for wellbeing and resilience in a variety of organisations and 1-1 professional/personal development coaching for school Heads and the Senior Leadership Teams.

A strategic role leading teaching, learning and assessment across 4 sites within a large, urban FE college.This involves engagement with executive stakeholders and colleagues at all levels to provide a responsive and bespoke in-house training and development solution to meet the needs of the business.Responsibility for designing and implementing the CPDL programme to ensure quality improvement of teaching ,learning and assessment results in a good and outstanding experience for our learners.This involves planning and delivering management development programmes around leading learning, implementing blended and e learning solutions,managing the central CPD budget commissioning external resources as necessary and leading and directing a team of teaching and learning coaches as the main resource for our teacher development.This team is instrumental in embedding an overall coaching culture within the organisation as part of our cultural transformation programme supporting teachers.Motivating and inspiring this team to ensure they are innovative, current in their educational thinking based on evidence based research to support the changing landscape of FE underpins their credibility and has raised standards in teaching, learning and assessment .Lead the new development and innovation unit with accountability for overseeing TEL across the group.This unit provides funding and project management support for innovative projects to encourage research based experimentation and innovation in TLA.
