With 16 years of experience as a Professor of Psychology at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD), I am passionate about teaching, researching, and applying behavioral science to enhance individual and organizational wellbeing and performance. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) and a Certified Health Coach (CHC), as well as the founder of InJewel LLC, a values-focused coaching and consulting company.My research interests lie at the intersection of behavior analysis, industrial/organizational psychology, and occupational health psychology. I direct the Wellbeing and Behavioral Science (WBS) Research Lab at UMD, where we examine factors within physical and social work environments that influence worker health, engagement, and productivity. We also develop objective measures and sustainable interventions based on behavioral science principles and methods. Additionally, I explore the psychology of health, sport, and fitness, and how to optimize performance and wellbeing in these domains. I am a published author and a speaker, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and expertise with individuals and organizations who seek to improve their outcomes and quality of life.
