Here I was working the front desk in the bureau, where my most important task was to welcome guests and provide good customer service. There was a wide variety of tasks in this position, which were both business and tourism related. The tasks included:• Customer service and sales in the bureau, where the inquiries were of a wide variety. • Marketing on social media, - Facebook and Instagram. • Engaging in entrepreneurial tasks, including conducting a presentation at an entrepreneur meeting, helping entrepreneurs to get started with Value Proposition Canvas, coordinating an entrepreneurial stall for Kerteminde Cherry Festival, as well as participating and helping in the stall during the festival. • Statistics and analysis of user survey in Excel and Google Sheets, as well as making a complementary report. • Ad hoc tasks, for colleagues, locals, tourists, and businesses. Among these, I have been introduced to SEO and have executed web shop orders.

I have been trained in “old school” customer service and have experience with a wide variety of segments. The product range in the store is wide and is aimed at children, young, women, men, and elders. In this position, I especially enjoyed customers with special needs, as I was challenged on my knowledge and in collaboration with the customer found good solutions that the customer was happy with. In Guideservice Denmark as a Booking assistant, I am coordinating the bookings for CLAY Museum. With a team of 8 guides, I am distributing the tours among the guides and additional other upcoming tasks. Communication is an essential part of this job, through mainly email and calls. This has especially developed my skills to coordinate, plan and overview, but also how to communicate only in text. I am using a booking system, Microsoft office (Word / Excel) and Google Drive. This job is especially relevant to my study within tourism.

Here I am working as both a bartender and a waiter, being a part of a young but engaged and experienced team. We can seat up to 87 guests and are offering table service. Café KRÆZ has the same owner as PRIVATEN and is located downstairs from the bar. It is one of the biggest cafés in town and in the weekend also a nightclub. Here I am working as mainly a waiter and sometimes a bartender.

For a full winter season, i worked as a bartender in a cozy hotel bar, in ski resort Arosa Lenzerheide.I was the only bartender in the hotel and took big part of setting up the bar. This includes shopping, making menu and decorations, to everyday work and cleaning. The bar offered both warm and cold beverages and cocktails. When there were no guests in the bar, i participated in lighter restaurant service.As it was a smaller hotel, i have from time to time taken part in different tasks all around the hotel, when it was needed.The job here has taught me much within both service, setup, tourism and hotel business. It was my first job behind the bar, also my first job abroad. I learned much German, and some swiss German too.
