Certified national log trainer for North American Van Lines. Monitored log compliance and performed log trainings when needed.

I was responsible for the processing of driver applications and background investigations for Interstate driver's being qualified or rejected by the van lines. In this position I ensured that all applicants, as well as documents, met or exceeded Department of Transportation and North American and Allied Van Lines guidelines. I was required to be knowledgeable in FMCSA regulations and policies including: Driver Qualification, Medical, Logging, Drug Testing & Safety. Furthermore; I educated and trained the Van Lines agents on FMCSA compliance.

I managed approximately 60 people including: shift managers, trainers, and employees. Some past job duties included: training and developing new managers, conducting interviews and hiring new employees. I was responsible for controlling the budget, daily operations, payroll, and administered employee reviews. I developed and implemented an “Employee of the month” awards program. I created a new employee orientation and training program. I was chosen to participate in corporate store openings, training new staff and setting up the new facilities.
