Many organizations do important work feeding the hungry. I like to think that art feeds the soul. The arts include all people; they illuminate the world around us and express the human condition in a way that speaks differently to each person. Because they are inclusive, the arts are the basis for a thriving community. Arts and culture drive tourism and attract business. They contribute to a positive sense of place. Macon Arts Alliance provides a path for artists and arts organizations to work together to advocate for involvement in and access to the arts. We work with other civic organizations to use art to accomplish common goals – alleviating blight, improving education, creating jobs, and building a vibrant, healthy community. It is my goal as Executive Director to tell the story of why art matters. It is an honor to join the Macon Arts Alliance team!

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia is to provide care and support for families of seriously ill, critically injured or medically fragile children being treated at area medical facilities.We believe that home is any place where families are together. We believe that healing happens over laughter and bedtime stories. We believe that an island of refuge in a sea of chaos is as powerful as any medicine. We believe in keeping families close.
