Julie is a psychotherapist and sleep specialist. Her most recent book, coauthored with Heather Turgeon, Generation Sleepless: Why tweens and teens aren't sleeping enough, and how we can help them (Penguin, 2022) has been featured on NPR's Science Friday and in The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic and People. Julie and Heather also wrote The Happy Sleeper. They run workshops on optimizing sleep for businesses and schools.
