I have over 20 years of work experience in various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, and non-profit organizations. While focusing on human resources, accounting, compensation, organizational design, HRIS, and change management, I worked my way up from the bottom. I went from the mailroom "catalog assembly girl" to running a company division by 21 years old, which allowed me to understand how systems work. I saw that good decisions can only come from good and accurate information, which leads a company to greater productivity and return on investments. Creating and improving systems, policies, and processes that enhance the performance and well-being of employees and clients has been the basis of my career, and creating order out of chaos is my superpower! I've designed several HR Departments and Accounting systems from scratch, helped many other small to medium companies identify their needs in either HR or Accounting, and provided them with innovative solutions. I thrive in diverse and dynamic environments using my communication, leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, and I thoroughly enjoy public speaking and writing. My natural entrepreneurial spirit allows me to adapt quickly, remain goal-oriented, and take risks when necessary. I become passionate about whatever I put my hand at completing and like to be an encouragement to all involved. I am intelligent, hardworking, and have some serious grit, and if that needs to be more complex, it comes in the form of an analytical, out-of-the-box thinker who likes things to be done with proper order, style, and class. I enjoy life to the fullest and like helping others do the same! Professionalism, integrity, ethical behavior, corporate growth, and financial success can be synonymous with fun, flair, generosity, and social responsibility. I am pursuing my MBA in Accounting at LSU Shreveport.My interests outside of work are pilates, yoga, travel, reading, writing, documentaries, and philosophy.My biggest accomplishment is raising (and educating) four incredible humans.
