In my current role as the only Marketing Executive at Barclay Communications my main aim is to help establish and market the company’s new brand image and slogan.I previously established the company's first social media presence and email marketing programme. I have also planned and managed a number of B2B marketing campaigns, which have involved advertising (print and radio), ad design, promotions, direct marketing, digital marketing activities (especially email marketing), website management, copy writing, large corporate hospitality events (for 500+ VIP guests), trade shows, design and production of marketing literature and signage, customer case studies (for advertorials), offline and online PR and even award entries. In fact many of my award entries have helped the company win various prestigious awards including Mobile News, Comms Business and Mobile Industry Awards' Best Dealer Categories, and Belfast Business Awards' Best Business Expansion Category.Lastly, after previously setting up the company’s first social media presence my goal now is to further explore and develop this medium with more B2B targeted social media marketing activities.

I temped in Invest NI briefly on my quest to move away from media sales and into a purely marketing role. In Invest NI I mainly participated in media monitoring, copy reading and event administration.

Radio Marketing Campaign Management: Creating effective radio airtime campaigns for clients and managing copy deadlines.B2B Business Development: Developing and maintaining relationships with direct customers and media agencies. Plus providing a trustworthy and knowledgably advertising contact for 20-30 clients on a regular basis.Market Research: Performing competitor analyses of NI’s commercial radio and media.Event Organisation: Organisation of client days, plus corporate and team building exercises. Accounting: Budget/target analysis, invoicing, banking, data analysis and credit control.

Creative Writing: On-air briefs/scripts for competitions and ticket giveaways.Website Management: Via a content management system.Event Organisation: Helping to organise and run road shows, street teams and client days.Protecting The Brand: To create/sell sponsorships/promotions that improve or compliment the company’s brand images. Communication: Provide effective and clear communication of all sponsorship and promotion activities to the various radio departments and clients.Customer Relations: Providing a professional and competent office contact for clients.
