In my elected role of Minnesota's nineteenth State Auditor, I and my office oversee almost $40 billion in local government spending. We do that with examinations, including audits and special investigations; support, including training and policy development; and data analysis, including reports and special reviews.

I am a teacher in leave serving as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Minnesota AFL-CIO, a federation of unions serving over 300,000 members in Minnesota and organizing for fairness and dignity for all working families.

The Education Minnesota Governing Board provides oversight and long term strategy for the union of 70,000 educators.

I supported the work of over 2700 hard working, dedicated, phenomenal educators in the Anoka-Hennepin school district by advocating for fair and supportive working conditions, organizing for effective educational public policy, and promoting the interests of educators and students.

Coordination of the politcal activities of one of the largest local teacher's unions in Minnesota. Design, organize, and implement member lobbying, local election work, and issue education activities for 3000 educators.
