Building on a lifelong passion for pairing music and visual media, I founded AURA to push the boundaries of creative storytelling through sound. Offering music supervision and composer management services, recent projects include commissions for iconic brands such as Polaroid (Ridley Scott Creative Group) and Parisian fashion house Dior, music supervision of 2 short films ('Green Space Dark Skies' BBC, 'Hubris' National Film Board of Canada), and collaborations with global brands and artists including Nike, Apple, Jon Hopkins and Shygirl.Other highlights include:*Working as music supervisor and sound recordist for 'The Delian Mode' (Philtre Films, Genie Award - Best Short Doc, Hot Docs - Best Short Doc)*Curating and clearing an eclectic mix of indie rock, punk and hip-hop as music coordinator for the first 2 seasons of 'Food Jammers' (The Food Network Canada)*Providing music consultation for a new theatrical production created by Olivier and Tony award winners Steven Hoggett and Enda Walsh (Spiegelworld)I've had the pleasure of traveling extensively, working across cultures and developing relationships with a huge variety of songwriters, artists, record labels, publishers, agencies, studios, and creative content producers globally.

I lead the growth of Erased Tapes Records’ publishing arm, securing artist and partner contracts and winning work with major studios and brands that led to increased revenue and royalties year on year. In addition to overseeing all music clearance and global business affairs, I managed more than 200 commissions from start to finish liaising with composers and studios like Netflix, SkyTV and Amazon Prime to deliver original commissions and licenses within a fast-paced production environment. As GM, I was also responsible for hiring and training staff and making recommendations and decisions based on financial data analysis and projections.Some highlights of achievements include:*Securing and managing the creation of commissioned scores for Black Mirror and Wanderlust (Netflix), Beat (Amazon Prime) and The Lazarus Project (Sky TV)*Overseeing the creation of original music for Secret Cinema's Stranger Things and Blade Runner *Planning an on-camera for the European Rugby Champions Cup Final campaign (BT Sport)*Project managing the publication of 3 sheet music books and a 10th anniversary 3-LP box set*Developing the companies' DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) policies and arranging staff training

As a co-founder of TSM, my role focussed primarily on managing music licensing and composition but also touched upon all aspects of the business including A&R, HR, finance and administration.I helped drive the growth of the catalogue from our very first signing to over 50,000 musical copyrights, overseeing sync and master use licenses as well as composer contracts for an international roster of artists and labels including Ninja Tune, Warp, Secretly Canadian, Rough Trade +. I managed the output of 4 direct reports in the licensing department and 2 administrative staff.My work allowed me to gain extensive experience in many aspects of original score creation: pitching to brief, briefing composers, music production (budgeting, sourcing talent, studios, equipment), music search and clearance, and commercial soundtrack releases).I was in charge of liaising with sub-publishing partners, artists, and developed new global business relationships with producers, directors and music supervisors through frequent travel. I also spoke at a variety of conferences and events across the US, Canada and EMEA.

Working closely with the founders of Ninja Tune's first North American office, I negotiated and contracted all incoming license requests for the catalogue for use in television, film, video games, and advertising. After significantly increasing the volume of sync placements through successful creative pitches, I was promoted within 1 year to help set up the label's new North American publishing venture.
