In my corporate career, I drove high levels of growth through breakthrough business plans, with a focus on new products and new business initiatives. I'm very proud of the launch of Funfetti Frosting & Cake, the relaunching Pillsbury Toaster Strudel ("It's like Pop Tarts but Better") and introducing the first TV station mobile apps at Internet Broadcasting. One of my core strengths is to connect business ideas and with people, using strong analytical skills, relationship building, creativity and a high level of energy. I now use this skills to match great students with internships and future careers.I've held senior leadership positions at The Pillsbury Company and Internet Broadcasting. My scope has been $1B in sales with the Pillsbury Refrigerated business, with over $300MM in profit. I was known for delivering outstanding P&L results each year, improving growth prospects and profitability for many product lines. Selected by AARP Minnesota in 2017 as a recipient of their '50 Over 50' award in Business (one of the most inspiring and accomplished leaders in Minnesota who are over the age of 50.)I have a passion for young people, inclusion and professional development. This led me to founding UpTurnships in 2014 with a colleague from Pillsbury. The opportunity to lead UpTurnships is the highlight of my career.
