Julie has been managing operations and client relations at Strategic Wealth Planning since 2005. In 2009, Julie helped establish Strategic Wealth Planning as a Registered Investment Advisory firm (RIA). Shortly after, the firm formed the SWP Investment Committee where Chapman has served as a member since its inception.Chapman credits her southern roots with her ability to listen to clients, to understand their needs, and to efficiently address their questions. Born and raised in New Orleans, Chapman moved to Dallas in 1987 after working for a major motion picture company. Prior to joining Strategic Wealth Planning, she began her financial services career in the life and health insurance industry at a large insurance company. Julie holds a Life, Accident and Health Agent License.• Oversees client financial services interoffice and with third parties.• Works closely with advisors to indentify what products are appropriate for clients.• Serves on internal investment committee giving input for wealth management platform. Knowledge of mutual funds, stocks, bonds, etc.• Knowledge of Estate Planning (Trusts, Withdrawal Notices, Partitioning Agreements, Financial Planning including high net worth clients, by working closely with CFP's and advisors to implement and monitor client's plans. Currently working with approximately 150 clients• Manages all Insurance (Life, Disability, LTC, etc) cases from top to bottom by securing illustrations, monitoring paperwork preparation, submittal and policy delivery.• Supervise all employees. Trains new client service associates (CSA) and receptionist. Wrote office procedures and provided major input for the policies and procedures manual.• Oversees all new business account set up and maintenance (financial and insurance)• Works with marketing firm to develop marketing strategies and assisted with new branding for the firm• Operations manager responsible for overseeing the activities, order and securement of the office
