• Worked in the Tender Department, developing several quotations of various budgets• Worked closely with electrical engineers, attending technical and progress meetings • I also had the opportunity to research the Wind Turbine market in Europe and work on a tender for the installation, testing and maintenance of a Wind Turbine for the University of Cyprus. This has also allowed the company to better understand this emerging technology. • In addition, I attended an accredited 8-week course on ‘How to develop an electrical design’ which included detailed descriptions of the regulations and standards required for building services.

• During my placement with HPF Consultants, I worked on feasibility studies for the conversion of retail and office towers into data-centres. • In order to achieve this, I was responsible for calculating the load and cable size (Amtech) requirements for the office conversion as well as specify new transformers, adequate for this project and within the regulations specified by the authorities. • I was also responsible for sourcing data and power modules for a £650 million project. This required researching which UK companies could source these products and provide them with a detailed specification of the products we were looking for.
