After leading the delivery of the Future Transport 2056 Regional NSW Services & Infrastructure Plan in March 2018, led a team to implement its vision of improved customer outcomes for communities, businesses and other stakeholders across regional NSW. The focus was on integrated multi-modal transport planning to deliver improved place-based outcomes. Achievements included the release of Greater Newcastle Future Transport Plan and Tourism & Transport Plan and commencement of transport strategies for places including Wagga Wagga, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour.

Secondment role developing regional strategy for Future Transport - particular focus on issues related to flexible transport models, interstate travel challenges, aspirational service principles and impacts of technology

After 16 months as a Contractor, appointed to permanent role managing a small team responsible for oversight of funding programs and projects focused on improving outcomes for community transport and other transport disadvantaged customers. Currently project managing the 2 year roll-out of a Centralised Trip Allocation and Booking System to 90 community transport providers across NSW.

Parramatta

Responsible for project managing and contributing to a range of projects focused on improving outcomes for current and potential community transport customers. Projects successfully completed included the development of an online toolkit and eLearning module for travel training, creation of an allocation methodology for CTP growth funds, research into the service attributes community transport customers most value, and the transition of community transport providers to the new Commonwealth Home Support Program and My Aged Care centralised assessment process.

City Access & Transport

Responsible for developing transport policies and the strategic analysis of transport projects for all modes of transport (rail, bus, light rail, bike, taxi), as well as pedestrians and parking. Role involved project managing community surveys, managing the roll-out of a new parking policy and undertaking a strategic analysis of the impacts of the light rail in the CBD.

Undertook a range of transport and social research projects involving stakeholder consultation, focus groups, surveys and data analysis for strategic planning projects, transport service planning, land use planning, transport infrastructure and policy development. Broad role responsible for promoting accessible transport options for frail aged and people with disabilities living in northern Sydney. Involved developing a website, marketing brochures and other collateral, giving presentations at community forums, undertaking analysis of demographic data, and set-up of "1800" phone enquiry line.

Established client service team of the Transport Data Centre (now AAI) - NSW government body responsible for collecting & disseminating data on the travel patterns of people in Greater Sydney Metropolitan Region. Developed and implemented strategies such as a client request/inquiry tracking system, analysed transport data and wrote reports and conference papers, introduced client newsletters and other marketing materials, and actively marketed services to clients.
