Responsible for gathering, prioritizing, and leading the implementation of new, innovative ideas, aimed at increasing engagement, creativity, performance in new and different ways as well as eliminating inefficiencies and reducing costs. • Created and led “Solutions Hub” where new and innovative techniques were used to unlock decision making and empower team members to take accountability for action. • Introduced a novel approach to internal problem solving. Designed a single, central digital platform to solicit, crowd source and collaborate on ideas and challenges. This solution empowered employees at every level of the organization to provide input and facilitate the process for implementing the solution.• As President, OMERS Foundation, built the infrastructure and successfully implemented governance for the Foundation that allows it to function in an effective and efficient manner, including standard Board packages, governance documents, grant selection criteria, communications strategy, and a concrete three-year business plan including targets and measures.• Built strong relationships for the OMERS Foundation both internally and externally, resulting in funding for grassroots organizations via OMERS employees' donations.

A major not-for-profit organization supporting 148 hospitals and over 400 associate and affiliate members by championing innovation and performance improvement, advancing and influencing health system policy in Ontario, and through high-quality products and services.Accountable for provincial HR matters ranging from executive compensation and multi-year health human resources strategies to data analytics and group benefits; setting provincial human resources planning efforts; provincial health and safety, provincial group benefits, health human resources research and analytics, HR legislative affairs, internal HR, Information Technology, and eHealth. Accountable for the OHA-appointed HOOPP governance process and a member of the HOOPP Board. Reported to the President and CEO, leading a team of 25, with annual $5M budgets and $2M revenue generation.

With more than $63 billion in assets, HOOPP is one of the largest defined benefit (DB) pension plans in Canada. Member of the Board of Trustees and member of the Plan Committee, a subcommittee of the HOOPP Board.

eHealth Ontario builds new IT systems and connects existing ones that allow health care providers to get secure, accurate and comprehensive patient information quickly and efficiently. Parachuted into the agency during a very politically sensitive time as the Provincial Auditor General’s Report was being delivered to the government. Reported to the CEO, with a mandate to develop a strategic HR plan that would assess and transform the agency. Led a team of approximately 30 staff and a budget of $5M.

Reported to the CEO with a budget of $1.5M and eight staff, responsible for all aspects of Internal Human Resources and Information Technology.
