    I joined the Foundation as a member of the Infectious Disease team. I helped establish our work on maternal immunization and was a member of the first Delivery team that worked across the Foundation exploring how we could contribute to increasing access to health innovations. I then focused my work on the neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) that were closely aligned to Bill and Melinda's desire for global health equity. I established the London Declaration and founded the Uniting to Combat NTD partnership, the Coalition for Operational Research on NTDs, and the NTD modeling consortium to bring together partners to control, eliminate or eradicate 10 neglected diseases. I worked to facilitate and accelerate innovative solutions and products including vaccines (primarily dengue), drugs, drug combinations, and diagnostics from development through scale-up managing a portfolio of investments of up to 450 million USD.

I also Directed the JE Project which supported the introduction or JE vaccine into endemic countries- including vaccine development, surveillance, direct country engagement, and post introduction impact assessments. Prior to that I was part of the Children's Vaccine Program working on the start up of GAVI including new vaccine introduction and evaluation.
