Toy Trader is a cash-free marketplace app to buy, sell, and trade outgrown children's items, toys, and accessories with in-app coins. Our in-app coins, Zennies, are designed to retain the value of the items families no longer need, and hold the value to put towards other items in the app.I have created Toy Trader in hopes of it becoming a strong tool for parents to use to control the chaos that comes with children. For me, the demand & just overall amount of STUFF that has come with my three beautiful children and the constant having to “figure out what to do with all this stuff” really caused a lot of personal anxiety and stress in my life. Sorting through it all constantly, donating or trying to sell, well, it was taking a lot of time and effort. (And this isn’t even considering the psychological side of “getting rid” of the these sometimes heavily sentimental childhood items..) Through these parental pressures I’ve personally implemented systems, toy rotation, decluttering life styles etc in my personal daily life, and along with Toy Trader-I feel parents can finally find a comfortable ebb and flow with the growth and cycle of kids clothes, toys and accessories; and in doing so cash free, making it inclusive and affordable for everyone.
