Executive Director of the West Virginia State Rehabilitation Council (WV SRC) for the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) to empower and advocate for individuals to live independently with disabilities. Provide federal reporting, budget reporting, membership reporting, and council reporting to the DRS Agency, the Secretary of the State, the Governor's Office, and the Rehabilitation Services Administration. Plan, prep, and conduct Rapid Response Meetings along with Workforce West Virginia and additional supportive organizations from regions aligning with employees' residential counties. Communicate with companies and unions for collaborative efforts in possible TAA Petition certification if qualifiers are met. Monthly and semi-annual reports submitted to Workforce West Virginia. Ongoing communication and logging of status updates with individual dislocated workers. Research of upcoming positive or negative shifts in the job market and news of companies in West Virginia to provide services as needed.

Patient Care Coordinator on a statewide initiative to support pediatric patients with special healthcare needs through the T-CHIC Project. Participated in weekly meetings with multiple counties participating in the T-CHIC Project to compare successful approaches and ways to overcome barriers. Leveraged feedback, conducted research, and provided local resources to assist our target population. Built relationships with local offices and doctors to bridge gaps in communication between patients and providers for better experiences and outcomes.

Held multiple roles at Roark Sullivan Lifeway Centers, such as the Giltinan Men's Homeless Shelter, Twin Cities Transitional Center, and outreach to residents at other local homeless shelters in Kanawha County. My positions included Behavioral Rehabilitation Specialist, Case Worker, Team Lead, Residential Coordinator, and Aftercare Specialist. The grant funded projects mostly served the chronically homeless population with co-occurring diagnoses (mental health and substance abuse). Some of the services included aftercare to reduce homeless recidivism and community outreach to locate those needing shelter. Received Motivational Interviewing training and accepted the Leon Sullivan Award of Excellence and Equality in 2010.
