My position at the Office of Diversity and Equity involved my drafting reports for annual job hiring in compliance with EEO and AA regulations for the State. I also assisted in general editing for documents in the office and typed up notes for webinars.

At CWEALF I worked the Information and Referral (I&R) lines where I discussed legal situations with clients and offered legal information as well as attorney or service referrals. I also updated and maintained data spreadsheets for I&R and helped evaluate and assess the I&R process and services based on client interaction.Additionally, I assisted in the organization of G2O events around Connecticut --events which encourage young female students to get involved with STEM programs--by finding volunteers and creating flyers.

My job as a Section Leader was to head the usher staff for a designated section of the theater during performances. I enforced company policy to the ushers I worked with and to the patrons who visited. This job introduced me to donor relations, team management skills, and customer service.

Running the blog had me researching topics for blog posts and articles almost daily. Similarly, I created and ran a weekly digest through University software (Soapbox).
