There’s a quote by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow that always inspires me: “We judge ourselves by what we feel capable of doing, while others judge us by what we have already done.” It’s meaningful because I consistently strive to meet my own expectations - as well as the expectations of others - and I never rest on my laurels. My role at Delta Faucet Company is to manage our product data, to distribute accurate information to our customers, and to make sure they have what they need. Part of this includes building and fostering relationships, solving problems, looking for opportunities for improvement, and achieving positive results. Because I’ve worked in other departments, like Customer Solutions and Sales, I have developed cross-functional expertise that allows me to provide unique perspectives and contribute effectively to my team. And while I’m focused and determined, I also like to lighten the mood when I can and have fun.My number one passion outside of work is traveling. When taking my first trip to Europe in high school, I fell in love with experiencing other countries, languages, and environments. In fact, I plan a trip abroad every year, and love driving on the left side of the road. There's little more thrilling than taking a hairpin curve in the Scottish highlands on the "wrong" side of the road!Since I work most of the day with cut-and-dried data, I enjoy lots of other creative outlets when I'm not at work, including cooking, music, books, and movies. In my off-time, I've branched into photography, with family and individual portrait sessions. I like to improve my skills by attending workshops and assisting a local professional photographer. Being able to see and capture beautiful things – especially landscapes and architecture – is incredibly gratifying.I know how fortunate I am - to be able to have fun and enjoy the people around me at home and in the office. And I’m grateful to count some of my colleagues as among my closest friends.
