After four years working as a personal injury paralegal, gaining valuable litigation experience, I joined Boyes Turner as a trainee. As a result of my previous experience I was able to qualify early in April 2010 and I was offered a role in the medical negligence team. I specialise in complex serious injury cases arising from medical negligence and have a specialist interest in spinal cord injury, specifically cauda equina claims, as well as amputation and infection (meningitis) cases. Alongside my day to day case management, I work closely with local and national charities to ensure my clients are supported as much as they can be after sustaining a life changing injury, until I can secure admissions of liability and interim payments. My ambition is to be able to sign post all potential clients to support services, whether this is a claim or not, to ensure they get access to the services they need at the earlier possible time.
