* Serves as the system-wide liaison for adult programs and outreach activities planned and delivered by branch staff to ensure that adult programs and services are aligned with BCPL’s strategic plan.* Leads the process and workflow for developing and delivering system-wide programs and services for adults that are offered in our branches, community venues, and online.* Builds and maintains relationships with community partners and government agencies that share a common mission in serving adults and niche audiences such as senior citizens, job seekers and others. * Collaborates with various departments to that support the success of adult programs and services.* Monitors and evaluates the success of adult services and programming efforts by collecting and analyzing data, tracking statistics, preparing reports, and sharing outcomes with stakeholders.* Facilitates and serves on multiple committees working on programming and outreach.* Participates in system-wide reviews of policies and procedures related to adult services.

* Provided complex reference and referral assistance by email and phone as solo (contract) Librarian for the Environmental Financing Information Network, a component of the Center for Environmental Finance (CEF) at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)* Maintained the CEF’s Web pages and create new pages as needed*Created marketing and outreach materials by writing, editing, and designing progress reports, fact sheets, and financial guidebooks

* Maintain the top level pages of the University Libraries' web site (www.lib.umd.edu) making updates, additions, and corrections as needed. * Facilitate sessions and write reports on web usability tests on new and updated sites and resources* Assist Library staff and faculty with the creation and maintenance of web pages* Serve on teams concerning the use of the Libraries' web site

*Supervised and trained volunteers, coordinated their schedules with needs of 4 departments.*Improved relationships with community homeschool groups by creating classes for homeschooled teenagers and organizing a homeschool Battle of the Books for more than 60 teens and their families (included coordinating work of 17 staff members).*Created and facilitated technology, craft, and reading programs for customers of all ages; collaborated with staff from different departments and branches to ensure successful programs.*Helped plan and offer large scale events by contacting and contracting with vendors, soliciting for and scheduling volunteers, and managing problems as they arose.*Coordinated production of Summer Reading 2006 commercial that was utilized by library branches and sent to Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools to promote the library’s teen summer reading program.
