About Julien Aubert
Julien Aubert is a producer and creator of innovative narratives. He began his career in 2009 at heaven, a creative web agency as a consultant in immersive strategies. He coordinates Orange's strategy in Second Life. At the same time, he created the blog Fais Moi Jouer dedicated to transmedia storytelling and became an writer and community manager of alternate reality games (Faits Divers Paranormalaux, OCS). He founded Bigger Than Fiction in 2011. Julien was leading the commercial development and creative direction of the agency's projects, while Edouard Gasnier, his partner, was in charge of the operational management and distribution of the projects. They will produce most notably the transmedia devices of the SKAM France and Cut series. In 2016, Julien developed a delegated production activity of short digital series and produced ÉTÉ, Rap Fighter and Blind Deads. In 2021, Julien developed with Jennifer Troszezynski a label for the creation of young adult fiction series.Julien regularly works with schools (Celsa, Gobelins, Mediaschool, Sup de Prod) and training institutions (Dixit, Media Faculty, Fabrique des Formats). He has been a member of several festival juries, including Valence Scénario. Julien is a member of the Web Creation commission of the SUD PACA region. He co-directs the Short Series College of PXN.Julien holds an MBA Creativity and Innovation from Federation University (Melbourne - Shenzhen, 2007). In 2022, he followed the Showrunner Bootcamp course at UCLA.
