Sr. Regional Development DirectorConstant Contact Aug 2006 - Apr 2012Waltham, Ma, UsIn my role as a Regional Development Director and later as Sr. Regional Development Dirctor, I was tasked with providing local education events around the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This later expanded to all of Texas and Oklahoma. I promoted events thru local partnerships with key influencers, built relationships with more than 50 Chambers of Commerce, 58 Small Business Development Centers, 22 SCORE chapters, and more. Also built partnerships with key nonprofit organizations Habitat Texas, Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations, Association of Fund Raising Professionals, Texas Travel Industry Association, and more. In 2008, was tasked with developing a training course for new Regional Directors to onboard and find a way to generate new partnerships in a local market, The result was a comprehensive Field Guide for growing a local market through traditional business development strategies and leveraging the power of email, social media and education as a marketing tool. This was the foundation for what would eventually become a full-scale training program for local market development for the company. We now have more than 3000 Chambers of Commerce in our partner program - more than any other collection of COCs anywhere. We are training more than 35,000 small businesses and nonprofits every month. And it is all powered through our world-class local education programs that started with two Regional Development Directors under the direction of a visionary leadership team. -
