My name is Julien Rudent and I used to work as a dependability engineer. However, three years ago, I made the decision to change orientations and to become an airline pilot. Today, I have almost completed my career change: I passed with success all pilot licences in Valenciennes with LGP Aviation and did a MCC/JOC in Berlin with Sky4u. Since this time I became self-employed and I am currently working on several projects with Flexsim-ATO, IXO-Aviation and the Mermoz Institute in order to finance a B737NG type rating. I became a first flight pilot and a BIA teacher with the Lens air-club. I renewed all my licences in October 2020 and finish the Advanced UPRT in November 2020. However the recent events linked to Covid-19 and the worldwide lock-down have led to a massive economic contraction. Airlines are sadly heavily impacted. It will become more and more difficult to find a job as a pilot in the years to come.
