I’ve been a public relations consultant for over 30 years, after graduating from Cambridge University with a degree in English.I’ve devised innovative, strategic and creative campaigns for companies as diverse as MasterCard, Samsung, Bosch, Lloyds Pharmacy, Diageo, British Airways, TomTom and even Britain’s national news agency, The Press Association.More importantly, I deliver measurable results - not just PR waffle. My expertise embraces consumer, corporate, trade and business-to-business communications. As well as crisis and issues management. So there’s not much I haven’t handled over my career.I'm a former board member of industry association PRCA, and am often asked to judge excellence in communications - most recently the CIPR Awards, PR Week Awards, Mobile News Awards and World Speech Day.I’ve won many awards myself too, for effectiveness in PR campaigns. For example, last year’s programme for one consumer tech client achieved a staggering 2,306 pro-actively generated, positive articles in target media... My PR agency, Starfish, is 100% independently-owned by Sally Fearfield and myself - so our focus is purely on generating great results for clients.
