I was a first "official author", as in published, as a poet.A poem I had written was published in a book of collaborated poetry entitled "Collected Whispers". This was my first published poem titled 'My Mind' and was featured in the 2008 in "Collected Whispers" and again, along with another poem, published in the international edition in 2009. I received several rewards including 'Editors Choice' 'Who's Who Top 25 poets under 25 to Watch' and 'Outstanding Achievement in Poetry'. I have, also, written numerous short stories which I have received several awards and/or scholarships including the 2004 Baylor Presidential Scholarship and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Award, among others. MY LOVE, HOWEVER, IS THE NOVEL...I have started novel after novel, I have come close to finishing them but the ending has always remained a mystery to my unwritten mind. However, there are two new tales I have in various stages of the writing process. The first Finding Eden is mere pages away before completion and is finally ready to begin the editing process. The other is a story that will not end with one book but several and so its success depends on finding a publisher for Finding Eden. If you know a good publisher looking for new talent and ideas, please let me know. I was employed at the district office to hire the new Farmer's agents, among other tasks. I, also, worked to help promote and organize the charity event benefiting the March of Dimes.

As President, I organized the meetings, events, dues and member rosters. We held meetings for the candidates to speak. I helped on numerous campaigns. I organized and held fundraisers; my goal was to educate 18-30 year old individuals about their local candidates, as well as, Congress members.
