Besides that, there is also the thinking of an online marketing strategy and maintaining contact with a diverse range of clients. SEO missions, writing articles, creating internal tools, are also things that come with the job. Since July 2016, when I became Analyst Lead, I am now also responsible for the training (bootcamps, workshops, internal knowledges) of the analysts within Semetis, but also of the newly hired employees of companies part of the Omnicom Media Group, that acquired Semetis last year. This challenging job keeps me sharp and up-to-date of the fast-growing digital landscape as new advertising channels continuously arise (think of advertising on Waze, Pinterest, Foursquare, Shazam, Spotify,...). -
Marketing Intern L'Oréal ProfessionnelL'Oréal Jul 2013 - Jan 2014Paris, FrFrom July 2013 until January 2014, I was (marketing) Assistant Product Manager on the DPP division in L'Oréal Belgilux. My main task was the creation of marketing materials for L'Oréal Professionnel coloration and Essie. My responsibility covered the whole process from creation (cooperation with graphic designers) until production (contact suppliers) of the marketing materials. Besides that, I also did the follow-up of marketing animations, supportive tasks and marketing research. The latter was meant to measure the satisfaction of the hairdressers, our clients, and to know how we could improve the marketing animations and corresponding materials. I gained experience in business tools as SAP, Business Warehouse and iTender and my Excel skills were tested to the fullest. Working independently, handling situations under time pressure, tight deadlines, a lot of responsibility and so on made this a very challenging working experience for me. Thanks to networking and public speaking my communicative skills and confidence were continuously improving, as was my French professional proficiency. The interns and my colleagues unconsciously helped me develop even further and partly made this experience one to never forget.
