BACKSTORY:With over two decades of senior-level leadership experience in the education sector, my journey included the role of an Ofsted Inspector, specialising in the Psychology of Inspection. This focus allowed me to guide staff through the challenging inspection process, helping them manage pressures and expectations.Guided by these insights, a strengths-focused approach, and a belief in invitational language, I created i3 Leadership® to empower leaders to inspire, influence, and positively impact their teams, elders, and communities. I’m driven by the vision that true leadership invites full participation, making space for everyone to contribute meaningfully.Today, I bring this vision to life through coaching, training, and consultancy, helping leaders build resilience, clarity, and purpose. PERSONAL CONNECTION:My dedication to this work is deeply personal. When my mother was diagnosed with early-onset dementia, I witnessed the varied quality of her care—from compassionate support to areas needing improvement. This experience ignited my determination to elevate leadership in the care sector so that every individual—colleague or elder—can thrive.I’ve seen the impact of mindful leadership in creating compassionate environments. This drives me to help others navigate leadership challenges meaningfully, contributing to the wellbeing of teams, communities, and those they serve. THE NECESSARY CREDIBILITY STUFF:With a Master’s in Business and Organisational Psychology, certifications in coaching, Giving Voice to Values, Strengths Profiling, and a Fellowship with the Institute of Leadership, I bring expertise and commitment to excellence in learning and development.Aligned with person-directed care values, I developed i3 Leadership® to equip leaders with practical wisdom and compassion in decision-making.I’m a proud member of the Eden Alternative and advocate for values-based leadership in care. WHAT MAKES ME SMILE:I have a soft spot for white chocolate, a Friday night Malbec, and crisp autumn days. October evenings, with a glass in hand by a roaring fire, are my happy place.
