I represent large health systems, hospitals, physician practices and other types of healthcare providers. My practice includes routinely advising clients on regulatory compliance and reimbursement/repayment and revenue cycle matters relating to the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the False Claims Act, and Medicare and state Medicaid payment statutes and regulations.Prior to Lathrop & Gage, I served as in-house counsel for a national healthcare system. I was a clinical assistant professor for a major academic medical center and served as the HIPAA Privacy Officer for the center's Nursing and Allied Health faculty practice plan.
