I have been in the security industry for the majority of my life. My family owned Stanley Smith Security which was founded in 1928. That company was sold in the 1980's but was still primarily controlled by my grandfather Stanley and my father Sterling Smith. In the early 90's my father started another security company where I left my mortgage broker job and went to work in sales. Needless to say it was genetic, I was hooked and over the next 6 years learned every aspect of the business. When my fathers partners relationship changed I decided it was important that I take what was most valuable- the SMITH family name and start my own business which I did, Smith Legacy Security in 1998, seventy years to the date of our former dynasty!Specialties: Security, fire, cameras and access control systems for commercial and residential applications.
