Aysha NY is an upscale fashion line catering to working women with highly styled unique fashions for discriminating women everywhere. Collaborating with fashion designer, Aysha Saeed to create the decor for a Pop-Up shop in the chic Flatiron Hotel to debut her new line, "Aysha StyleMe Studio". After reviewing the location we agreed on a theme of "Glam Garden" and went to work to create the look. Filling the space with trees, plants, garden furniture and her signature yellow roses created just what we envisioned, to surround the amazing clothes and jewelry of her line.

The Interior Design Society (IDS) is an independent national organization comprised of more than 3,000 members. As one of the country's largest design organizations dedicated to serving the residential interior design industry, the Interior Design Society offers members community, education and business support. All qualified residential design professionals, including those who work in a retail environment, are welcome and encouraged to join IDS. Our goal is to provide our members with education, programs, resources and services to aid them in their path to professionalism in residential interior design.

Housing Works hosted NYC’s most popular interior design benefit – DESIGN ON A DIME – at the Metropolitan Pavilion in the heart of Chelsea’s design district. The event showcased more than 60 of the world’s top interior designers. Julie Schuster Design Studio was among the lucky few selected to create a unique vignette pieced together from custom created/curated and donated merchandise which was then auctioned off and sold for charity! Proceeds from the event support Housing Works’ newest initiative – the Hull Residence, transforming a vacant lot into safe housing for homeless adults living with HIV/AIDS.” My second year at Design On A Dime, the vignette was inspired by an article published in Elle Décor entitled “Bathrooms That Feel Like Living Spaces.” The idea of combining bathroom and dressing areas in a beautiful, feminine way and “starting your day with glamor.” With this notion in mind, I started sourcing functional pieces of furniture that would work within the context of the room, but that could also be easily sold and transported in and out. We made the wardrobe cabinet and vanity in collaboration with TransFORM. These key pieces were designed to work within the context of an New York apartment and could be easily moved to their final site fully intact. Our wall décor, amazing gilt mirror and light fixtures had an Art Deco feel to them and were grounded by lovely oriental carpets which became the inspiration for the eggplant color on the walls.As the only Feng Shui practitioner represented at the event, it was important for to me to fully embrace the five elements in my design:- METAL: golden walls and art, oval shape of the freestanding tub- WATER: mirrors, water in the art- FIRE: lighting (chandelier and sconces), artwork depicting beautiful/sultry women- WOOD: long/lean shapes of the bath vanity legs, tall wardrobe cabinet- EARTH: matte finish of the marble vanity top, “grounding” quality of the tribal carpets, long/low side-bench

Cipriani on 42nd Street was THE venue to be at last Wednesday, April 15 for the annual Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Gala. The champagne sparkled, the gowns glistened and the table deigns were amazing. I was honored to have been selected as one of 40 NYC interior designers to design a "Garden of Eden"​ inspired spread for the event which helps to benefit the East Side's neediest families. The Lennox Hill Neighborhood House has provided social, educational, legal, housing, mental health, nutritional and fitness services to those in need who live, work or attend school on the Upper East Side since 1894. Its efforts help approximately 20,000 people each year.

This amazing charity project, in it's 11th year, unites the New York Design community for the benefit of Housing Works and it's goal of providing support to those afflicted with HIV/Aids. I was pleased and proud to have been selected to create this vignette.“Foyer in Bloom” uses pastel pinks, blues, creams and greens with the occasional metallic pop.

Hosted by DIFFA (Design Industry Foundation Fighting Aids) as a sister event to their already hugely successful, DINING by DESIGN, Picnic by Design is an exciting summer event that highlights design, food and fun for a good cause. ZEN GARDEN:This vignette brought together the romance of a summer picnic with the serenity of a Japanese garden. Our picnic participants dined to the sound of wind chimes, and played in our zen sand gardens, creating whatever their fancy dictated; all the while sipping wine from elegant balloon glasses and dining off of wood bark embossed china. All product was custom created and curated.

Directed complete project packages from concept, through design development, including complete project management for this boutique niche firm. Specialized in GREEN/SUSTAINABLE design with a FENG SHUI ethic.

As project manager, I interfaced directly with designers, contractors, facilities and event management and planned and executed set-up, tear down and day to day management for two consecutive years.

Chairperson - Annual Auction. Planned and executed this annual fundraising event for approximately 600 attendees from donation solicitation through to party event planning and coordination. Supervised several committees and coordinated staff throughout. Raised over $250 K in one event.Board Member - Fundraising. Organized and executed ten separate events for this K-8 school for gifted children in New York City. Responsibilities included staffing organization, themes and decor.

Responsible for design, styling and fashion direction of the junior sportswear division for this $100 million dollar privately held clothing manufacturer based in San Francisco. Worked directly with major department and specialty stores.
