I currently work as a Senior Project Manager for Davis Events Agency and look after large outdoor events such as the UEFA Europa League Final 2024 Ancillary Events, Cork City Marathon 2022 & 2023, and corporate activations at the Pride Festival in Dublin, New York, Toronto and San Fransisco 2022, Tokyo and Dublin 2023. I also work on events for county and city councils in Ireland, the HSA, and the Department of Children and Integration.Previous to this, since 2010, I have offered a range of WordPress training courses for businesses, community groups and private individuals who wanted to get the most out of their online presence. All training was tailored to companies' websites and staff requirements. My clients ranged from charities and self-employed individuals to financial services providers, county councils, The Department of Education, schools and colleges such as UCD, hospitals and clinics, property developers and large organisations such as KPMG, Fineos (insurance software company) and the Houses of the Oireachtas (the Irish Parliament).I also took care of content updates on websites built in WordPress for companies.All our courses were very interactive, all participants worked on their own site during the training and courses focused on using free online tools whenever possible (website, blog, social media, image editing etc).I also worked for the Convention Centre in Dublin as part of Events - it was a fantastic company to work for, and combined very well with my WordPress courses. They were both exciting and flexible interactive environments with great possibilities to develop!I have previous experience as an Office and Operations Manager in a customer focused environment. I am fluent in English and German, speak conversational Thai and have 9 years experience in Tourism. Strong project management skills including stakeholder management, sales and marketing, and customer experience.One of the most challenging but also most rewarding times I have ever experienced was when I volunteered with the German Embassy in Thailand after the Asian Tsunami in 2004 organising the repatriation of injured and stranded tourists. At the same time I arranged the logistics and permits to transport 100 tonnes of aid to Sri Lanka. Afterwards I founded a donation campaign for the victims of the Tsunami, collected over €20,000 and personally took care of funding all the supported projects for about 9 months.Specialities: Project management, Event management, WordPress website training
