I volunteer at my local special riders program as horse leader. Safety is my main duty, as I must keep the horse happy and calm while being led with a rider on him. My experience riding horses for the past seven years, and owning one for the past two, has held me gain knowledge in this area. I love leading the horses, but I can't help but also interact with the wonderful, charming, and inspiring riders.

I helped the founders of Equitrekking, which is a PBS travel show about horseback destinations, develop an equestrian travel agency, and I was the travel consultant of the ensuing company. I developed systems, filtered inquiries, and counseled people in choosing and arranging their dream equestrian trip. It was a lot of work, but so much fun!

Was founder and president of travel agency with offices in Rochester, MN and La Crosse, WI. I oversaw several travel consultants, managed the marketing, corporate accounts, and books. I sold both agencies when I had my son, Zachary, so I could focus more attention on him. At that time I became an independent contractor, and have been one ever since.
