Hello, I'm a designer and researcher working in technology for the public interest. I'm currently working on improvements to income verification on the Facing Financial Shock team, part of the inter-agency "Life Experiences" initiatives envisioned by the President’s Management Agenda (PMA). Generally, my work looks like:• Design research and prototyping to discover underlying issues, find opportunities for collaboration and evaluate design interventions. • Human-centered design of products and services that meet people where they are, how they are, centering respect, inclusion, and access. • Service design methods to evaluate interventions 'across the desk' from the public to the front-line government worker, to agency leadership to reduce administrative burden and increase efficiency across the service. I'm a graduate of the University of Washington's human-computer interaction and design (MHCID) master's program where I studied contextual design, prototyping and data sense-making. I'm also an artist working between historical archives, democratic engagement and collaborative processes.
