My role as a barista trainer requires me to have extensive knowledge of our products, an understanding of how to run the store and its different positions accurately, and the ability to explain these expectations to new baristas. It's also very important that I am able to listen to our customers and reccommend them products based on their taste and my knowledge of what we offer. I am well known to my coworkers as someone who can answer any question, who is always keeping the energy and morale up, and is constantly looking for new ways to improve efficiency.

As a bookseller, my main responsibility was to assist customers using our database to help them find exactly what they were looking for. I grew my customer service and data entry strengths greatly in this role, as we were also responsible for distributing textbooks to students through rentals and purchases.
