Onsite Membership Assistant Manager
With the Onsite Membership Manager, hire, on-board/train, supervise, and motivate approximately fifteen Onsite Membership Assistants. Ensure compliance with union contract for staffing. Support team to meet sales and service goals. Role model and coach professional, prompt, respectful and efficient service resolutions and job performance. Take initiative to problem solve escalated and short term customer service issues with resources available. Step in as department manager in the Onsite Membership Manager's absence.Manage day-to-day onsite membership admission, ticketing, and sales operations with the Onsite Membership Manager. Conduct daily briefings with onsite staff, making sure they are kept up-to-date on current and upcoming exhibitions, public programs, and other museum-related activities of interest to all museumgoers and SFMOMA members specifically. Proactively maintain clean workstations and patron-facing environments.Build the weekly staff schedule and the daily break schedule for Onsite Membership team with the assistance of the Onsite Membership Manager. Approve and adjust staff timecards in the Onsite Membership Manager's absence. Pull staff schedule and timecard reports for department.Become an expert on the use of SFMOMA's CRM software Tessitura. With the Onsite Membership Manager, train Onsite Membership team staff in the use of Tessitura and offer team support during daily operations, managing adherence to the standard operating procedures. Generate training agendas and onboarding and training plans for new hires.Support Onsite Membership team by cross-training and troubleshooting in excellent customer service for non-membership services (selling general museum, exhibition, and event-related tickets to both members and visitors). Help plan and present sessions at frontline training days, working closely with the frontline management team.
