About Juliet Tzabar

I am a multiple BAFTA-winning executive producer and production company MD, with specialist expertise in delivering digital content across multiple platforms including games, short and long form animation, live action, broadcast tie-in, and learning content for kids.As Founder and Managing Director of Scream Out Loud and Plug-in Media, I developed a specialism for producing interactive entertainment projects with a broadcast tie-in and largely focused at the children and families audience. Over the years, we were responsible for producing some of the most groundbreaking digital projects in the children's entertainment space. Our expertise in translating linear broadcast IPs into playful interactive and educational experiences for kids led us to work with some of the biggest brands across the globe, including Sesame Street, CBeebies, CBBC, Nickelodeon, Turner Broadcasting and our content continues to be enjoyed by children worldwide. Our projects have also been recognised by multiple awards across interactive and digital short-form categories, including: BAFTA (5 wins, 3 nominations), Prix Jeunesse, Broadcast Digital, and Kidscreen. As an independent production company MD, I have initiated and led digital business development and production strategies. At Plug-in Media this involved driving our original IP strategy to capitalise on the company's experience within the kids content sector to originate, produce and publish original IP across multiple platforms from mobile to online, TV to physical products. This has included Tee and Mo - a preschool IP that began as a series of games, and has since led to the production of 9x3-min 2D animated songs, 70x7-min animated TV series for CBeebies and TVO, 1x11-min special, a successful Youtube channel, apps and physical products. More recently Plug-in Media has joined forces with Blue Zoo and I am MD of regional office, Brighton Zoo. Here, as well as establishing the new business, I continue to exec-produce TV, digital short-form and interactive content including: series 1 and 2 of Supertato for CBeebies, mixed media shorts for Toy brand Fugglers,, and delivering interactive learning games.I speak internationally about digital media and animation including at CMC (Sheffield); Kidscreen/iKids (New York); TIFF (Toronto), Cinekid (Amsterdam), Anime Caribe (Trinidad). I also serve on the advisory committee for the Children's Media Conference. In 2011 I was a finalist in the Women in Technology Entrepreneur of the Year award.
